Café de Oude Sluys has sat beside the Leidschendam Lock for more than 100 years. The lock once linked the waterways between Leiden, Delft, and The Hague — and the café became the natural stopping point for everyone passing through. Cyclists, boaters, locals, and day-trippers still stop here for the same reason: cold beer, good company, and one of the best terrace views in the area.
